Aviva Stadium Community Grants Scheme

In our original application for planning permission Aviva Stadium suggested that it would be appropriate to have a "Community Fund" that would be used to support deserving projects in the area immediately surrounding the stadium.

This was enshrined as a condition in the planning permission and agreement was reached that Aviva Stadium would create an annual fund of €100,000. This fund would be index linked and would continue for the life of the stadium. Any monies not given out in the year go into the following year's fund.

The fund is administered by the Project Monitoring Committee (PMC) which consists of two representatives each of Aviva Stadium, Dublin City Councillors, the local community and Dublin City Council executives. The PMC is advised by an independent advisor who now visits everyone making an eligible application to the fund.

Documentation in relation to making an application to the fund can be downloaded from this page [see link]. Applications can be made at any time but will be considered by the PMC either in the period January-June or July-December. There will be two series of grants in any given year.
