NO SMOKING POLICY AT AVIVA STADIUM

Ireland’s soccer goalkeeper, Emma Byrne, joined with Irish rugby captain, Fiona Coughlan, to celebrate “World No Smoking Day” by officially announcing that the Aviva Stadium will operate a ‘no smoking’ policy for all sporting fixtures and concerts.

Ireland’s largest insurer completes planned name change to Aviva

First Seats Installed in Aviva Stadium

The first of the 50,000 seats in the new Aviva Stadium were installed recently.  On hand to celebrate another milestone in the stadium development were from left Philip Browne, chairman of the stadium company and chief executive IRFU; John Delaney, chief executive FAI and Stuart Purdy, chief executive, Hibernian Aviva.

IRFU Confirm Historic First Game in Aviva Stadium as Rugby Returns Home

To mark the opening of the Aviva Stadium, the Irish Rugby Football Union today confirmed that the first game to be played in 2010 will be an historic rugby match between two composite provincial teams pitting a Leinster/Ulster team against a Munster/Connacht selection on Saturday, 7 August.
