Make-A-Wish® Ireland in conjunction with Aviva Stadium is to launch a world record attempt for the amount of coin tosses, simultaneously.
This unique event will take place at the Aviva stadium today Saturday 6th October and will be held at half time during the Leinster and Munster rugby match. On the day, everyone seated in the stadium will toss a coin at the same time to break the Guinness World Record.
All monies collected on the day will go towards helping to grant wishes to children throughout the country aged between 3 and 17 years.
Susan O’Dwyer, Chief Executive, Make-A-Wish said: “We are really looking forward to attempting to break this world record and we hope that all the Leinster and Munster fans get behind this great cause at half time in the Leinster and Munster rugby clash. To do this in the year where we are celebrating 20 years as a charity in Ireland is a great achievement. On behalf of Make-A-Wish and Bank of Ireland I would like to thank our partners in this endeavour: Aviva Stadium and their staff, IRFU, Leinster Rugby, Coinstar and all our volunteers. Here’s to a great match”.
