Aviva Stadium Community Fund Scheme

Investing in our local community

The Aviva Stadium Community Fund supports community organisations and local projects that make a positive difference to people living in the area around the Stadium.

Since the fund was established in 2007, more than 500 local projects have received support, helping organisations deliver projects, activities and improvements that benefit the local community.

The fund provides €100,000 in annual funding focused on projects within a 1km radius of Aviva Stadium.

Supporting the community around Aviva Stadium

Through the Community Fund, support is provided to eligible community and voluntary organisations for projects that deliver a meaningful benefit to people living in the area around the Stadium.

Over the years, funding has supported a wide variety of initiatives, including sports and recreational activities, community events, educational projects, equipment and improvements to local facilities.

Supporting local community life

Supported the Sandymount Community Centre's Summer Party which welcomed over 500 people and enjoyed a fantastic sense of community spirit.

“We are so excited for what the future brings for the Sandymount Community Centre, and we are deeply grateful for Aviva Stadium’s continued support and partnership with our local community”.

Jessica Ryan, Community Centre Manager

Supporting local health initiatives

Funding from the Community Fund helped the Irishtown and Ringsend Community Participation Group deliver a women's health event, providing local women with health screening and information on a range of health and wellbeing issues.

“We very much appreciated the funding from the Aviva Stadium. It enabled us to screen local women for diabetes, cholesterol and blood pressure as well as receiving dental advice, cervical and breastcheck advice, information on smoking cessation and also stress management. The feedback from the local community has been very positive.” Michelle Phelan, Chairperson, Women’s Health event, Irishtown and Ringsend Community Participation Group.
