Metallica | M72 World Tour - June 21st 2026

Metallica has confirmed that its record-breaking M72 World Tour will be extended into its fourth year with the announcement of 16 shows in Europe and the UK spanning May, June and July 2026. 

Two-night tickets for the newly announced No Repeat Weekends will be on sale May 30th 2025 at 10am.

Fan club pre-sales begin May 27th 2025 at 11am.

Two-night tickets for Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on 19th & 21st June 2026 cost from €121.25 to €261.25, subject to Ticketmaster charges. Concerts are subject to licence.

Since opening April 2023 in Amsterdam, M72 has seen Metallica play to some four million fans. Variously hailed as “an altogether life-affirming experience” (Billboard), "undeniably epic” (Metal Hammer), "a stone-cold stunner of a show” (Detroit News), "triumphant” (Kerrang!) and “as tight and furious as Metallica has sounded in ages” (Los Angeles Times), M72 continues to amaze fans and critics alike. The M72 World Tour’s 2026 itinerary will continue the hallowed No Repeat Weekend tradition, with each night of the two-show stands featuring entirely different setlists and support lineups. Support on M72’s 2025 European/UK run will come from Gojira, Pantera, Knocked Loose and Avatar. As always, a portion of proceeds from every ticket sold will go to local charities via the band’s All Within My Hands foundation. Established in 2017 as a way to give back to communities that have supported Metallica over the years, All Within My Hands has raised over $20 million since inception – providing $11.4 million in grants to career and technical education programs including the ground-breaking Metallica Scholars Initiative, now in its seventh year, over $7.4 million to combat food insecurity, more than $4.7 million to disaster relief efforts.

Public & Premium Levels: All bars & food kiosks will be open on all levels. 

Cashless Stadium

Please note, that Aviva Stadium is now cashless across all bars and food outlets for this and all future matches. This means there will be no cash accepted but all bank cards, Apple, Android and Google Pay are accepted. This change will mean faster service, shorter queue times, faster transaction time and means the staff won’t be handling cash.

There will be food & beverage outlets available on all open levels.

• MCD does not distribute 1) backstage passes 2) VIP passes or 3) wristbands to the general public. Requests for passes/wristbands will not be answered.
• MCD cannot arrange any individual Meet & Greets, or shout outs by artists at our events. Meet & Greets, where available, will be purchasable via Ticketmaster’s website. Individual requests will not be answered.
• Stage Times, where available, will only be provided via MCD social media or venue platforms. Where times are released, please note these are subject to change. Requests for stage times will not be answered.
• Accessible tickets, where available, are purchasable via Ticketmaster – any requests to relocate your seats owing to a change in circumstances must be made via your Ticketmaster My Account function. We cannot facilitate ticket exchanges directly.
• If you have any other accessibility queries with regard to toilet facilities, dietary requirements etc., please submit your queries through the portal on MCD website.
