MCD FAQ's

Please also read the following points before you send your inquiry to MCD. 

• Aviva Stadium or MCD do not sell tickets. Any & all ticketing queries should be directed to Ticketmaster via your My Account function. If you do not have an account, you should create one prior to submitting your request.
• MCD does not distribute 1) backstage passes 2) VIP passes or 3) wristbands to the general public. Requests for passes/wristbands will not be answered.
• MCD cannot arrange any individual Meet & Greets, or shout outs by artists at our events. Meet & Greets, where available, will be purchasable via Ticketmaster’s website. Individual requests will not be answered.
• Stage times, where available, will only be provided via MCD social media or venue platforms. Where times are released, please note these are subject to change. Requests for stage times will not be answered.
• Accessible tickets, where available, are purchasable via Ticketmaster – any requests to relocate your seats owing to a change in circumstances must be made via your Ticketmaster My Account function. We cannot facilitate ticket exchanges directly. If you have any other accessibility queries with regard to toilet facilities, dietary requirements etc., please submit your queries through the portal on MCD website.
• For all general customer queries, please submit via the portal on MCD website. Please see bottom of page for information you need to include in your query. Queries won’t be queued for answering until all details are received.

TRAFFIC 

Information will be available on the Garda website in advance of the concerts. 

TRANSPORT

Plan and book your return travel arrangements in advance, using official NTA licensed transport providers. Allow yourself at least an additional 3 hours travel time to and from the venue. As traffic delays are inevitable you are encouraged to walk, cycle, use public transport and private coach services.

Public and private transport services are managed and operated under licence by the National Transport Authority (NTA).

Promoters do not operate transport to/from venue this is matter for customers to arrange in advance.

BY DART: Nearest stations are Landsdowne Road or Grand Canal Dock. Note: After the concert Grand Canal Dock station will be closed. More info on Irish Rail.

BY BUS: Bus timetables and more info on Dublin Bus.

BY TRAIN: Train times and information can be found at Irish Rail.

TAXI DROP-OFF: Suggested locations are Pembroke Road/Northumberland Road or Tritonville Road/Herbert Road depending on your approach route - please see map.

No public parking. Please do NOT park illegally or in residential areas. Please use public transport or city centre car parks.

BIKE PARKING: Bike parking is available in the vicinity of the stadium as indicated on the map below.

BAG POLICY & RESTRICTED ITEMS

No bags, with the exception of small A4 sized bags, will be permitted into the stadium.

Handbags will be subject to search.

FOOD & DRINK 

Public & Premium Levels: All bars & food kiosks will be open on all levels. 

Aviva Stadium is cashless across all bars and food outlets. All bank cards, Apple, Android and Google Pay are accepted. This change will mean faster service, shorter queue times, faster transaction time and means the staff won’t be handling cash.

ACCESSIBILITY

MCD cannot amend or move any ticket bookings, but if you are attending on general admission tickets and would benefit from an accessible accommodation, you can request this here: Outdoor Accessibility Requests | MCD.ie. Please note, all forms close 5 days out from event date.

Accessible ticketholders do not need to contact us. They will be contacted directly.

All accessible parking must be arranged in advance.

Please note wheelchair bays are for wheelchair users only.

Aviva Stadium is located in a residential area and we appeal to all concert goers to respect the local community by not littering, not engaging in anti-social behaviour and by not parking illegally. Please respect our neighbours. 

Toilet facilities will be in place around the stadium and a community stewarding team in place.
